Question: Hi doctor,
I am in dilemma to whom i should consult.I am unmarried and going to get married on August.My problem is that i am physically weak and everytime feel laziness.i am feeling difficulty to face people.i am always thinking negatively and always anxious.Also feeling difficulty to explain my problem when i met a doctor.So i can't convey my problems properly.Thats why i am taking the help of an online doctor.Kindly suggest what i have to do to recover from my problems.my nature is that i talk little and mingle little with society.I am working in a XXXXXXX and if any work pressure(any technical fault arises) come to me, i always feel difficulty to face it. i became nervous and trying to get away from problems and instead of solving that i am trying to run away from that.2 years back i diagnosed with schysophrenia and taking medicine for that.my mind is always thinking negatively and finding difficulty to concentrate and forgetting things in very short time that make me crazy.i were very good in studies but now this condition made me to think much and getting nervous.I am facing difficulty to address people.i also have the following physical symptoms

I went through your question, I can understand your problem. You came to the right person, I hope. Usually, psychiatric cases are classified into two main categories. 1. Mental diseases and 2. Mental disorders. Mental diseases like schizophrenia, psychoses are supposed to be treated with the help of medicines. Mental disorders like anxiety, stress disorder, depression etc are treated without medicine and with psychotherapy. Your problem come in the second category.

Your blood routine test, found normal. Cholesterol,sugar everything normal.only tsh showing little high it is 10.5. I hope there are no other physical symptoms other than you mentioned here.

Riscure Plus - This medication is an atypical antipsychotic, prescribed for Aspergers syndrome (difficulties in social interaction), schizophrenia (disturbed or unusual thinking), schizoaffective disorder(elevated or depressed mood), the mixed and manic states associated with bipolar disorder, and irritability in children with autism(impaired social interaction).

I request you to understand your symptoms well and educate yourself with the symptoms well. Please go through many articles written about Asperger's syndrome, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder etc which are available online. Once you understand the symptoms and the usual treatment methods, you will be enlightened.

5. Write down every positive aspects about you. (I know there are many, but you are only talking about your negative aspects.) Read those positive aspects many times a day and fell happy about yourself and those positive attributes.

Hi doctor,
I am very happy with ur reply.i have gone through the diseases mentioned by you.My symptoms are matching with aspergers syndrome.Also i feel delusions sometimes.i will follow the psychotherapy as suggested by you.i feel nervous to face people.my symptoms are 1.depression 2. Anxiety 3.lack of concentration 4.pure memory 5.Numbness and pain in lower extremities. 6.NO ERECTION WHICH MAKES ME MORE WORRIED AS I AM GOING TO MARRY 7. fear to face a crowd or society 8. lack of sleep due to unwanted thinking 9. Please go through the following checklist and confirm you are having these problems.

1. Average or above-average intelligence
2. Difficulties with high-level language skills such as verbal reasoning, problem solving, making inferences and predictions
3. Difficulties in empathizing with others
problems with understanding another person’s point of view
4. Difficulties engaging in social routines such as conversations and ‘small talk’
problems with controlling feelings such as anger, depression and anxiety
5. A preference for routines and schedules which can result in stress or anxiety if a routine is disrupted
6. Specialized fields of interest or hobbies.
7. Trouble understanding the emotions of other people, and the subtle messages sent by facial expression, eye contact and body language are often missed or misinterpreted.

If you have at least 5 of the above symptoms, you are troubled with Asperger.

You are already having medicine for that. You may consult your psychiatrist for further medicinal treatment.

Usually, we follow a combination of medicine and the following methods for the treatment of Aspergers.

1. Individual psychotherapy to help the individual learn social skills training, to better detect social cues, and how to deal with the emotions surrounding the disorder
2. Education about Asperger and training
3. Behavioral modification
4. Social skills training

These methods are incorporated in the techniques I provided you. Please follow them strictly for at least 15 days before following up.

Regarding your sexual problem. Erectile dysfunction is common problems with people suffering from Asperger, schizophrenia and anxiety disorder. You should not start worrying much about this. But I suggest you to tell the whole of your problems and treatment to your fiancee for better marital life.
