Brief Answer:
Nausea can be due to pregnancy or a side effect of iron supplement.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
During pregnancy it is normal to have a sensation of nausea due to effect of changing hormones on the body. The iron supplements are associated with side effects like nausea, belching, constipation or diarrhea or a mild pain in the abdomen.
To decrease the nausea you can take the iron supplements after meals instead of taking these on an empty stomach. Taking a few drops of ginger ale or peppermint oil or lime juice will also help in reducing this sensation.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
