Question : I,m Having reaction to allopurnal which I have taken 30 mg daily for past month. Called Dr and was told to discontinue due to rash over body with purple blistering on hands. Wii Benadryl help and reduce the reaction I am having?

I understand your concern.
Allopurinol can produce very severe reaction called Erythema multiforme which may be severe as in Stevens Johnson's syndrome or Toxic epidermal necrolysis.
Go to the emergency room or call the local emergency number (such as 911) if you have symptoms of erythema multiforme. Get emergency help immediately if a large area of the body is affected.
