Question: The doctor gave me a pneumonia vaccination yesterday Oct 2014, I had one in 2013. Is this harmful?

This is a common reaction

Hi...rash and redness and pain at injection site are common reactions to any vaccine. You need not worry. If pain is unbearable you can take a single dose of any of the over the counter pain killers approved as per your country's government regulations.
Any vaccination fever will usually last 24-48 hours, so keep paracetamol at hand and take either 4 or 6 th hourly only if temperature is more than 101F.
