Suggest Remedy For Soreness On Lower Abdomen

I just fell on the ice outside hard flat onto my right side of my abdomen and elbow. I was winded a bit but got up and seem okay. But my lower right side abdomen (below my ribs) is sore (just came out of a restaurant after a big meal too). When I fell it felt like all my insides jolted around so I guess I'm going to ache.
Are there any signs to looks for? I don't feel in pain enough to go to ER but do feel some discomfort. Wondering if I should bewared about my liver or kidneys?
Thx.
Better to have one visit to ER
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
To recapitulate and to clarify after reading the history:
Male / 43 - fell outside on the ice - hard, flat onto your right side of abdomen and elbow - got up and seemed OK but some discomfort - lower right side of abdomen is sore - have big meal too - felt like inside jolted - do not feel enough pain to go to ER.
Signs and Symptoms to look for:
-Nausea
-Vomiting
-Distension of abdomen
-Watch for urine- output, color, pain.
-Redness / bruise under the skin where the trauma has occurred.
-Painful movement of the abdomen / trunk and elbow too.
-Even slightest increase in pain.
I would advise you the following:
It is better to visit the ER for a few reasons, viz. Many a times the internal injury can take time to show-up either in the forms of Symptoms (complaints and history by a patient) Signs (watched for by a Doctor). Once you get to ER a clinical / physical examination, vitals and a few investigations like X-ray of the abdomen in standing position and ultrasonography (helps to rule out internal trauma to kidney and liver) with routine tests either detect something or declare as normal. Normal reports help us to get the free of any worry and anxiety.
If something is positive, you can be kept under observation to pick up any complication fast and get treated accordingly.
You may be feeling just a discomfort now is a good thing, but be aware of the points mentioned above,
I hope this answer helps you to get a proper guideline in such a situation.
