I am 36 year old. I have the below symptoms.

3) Since some days i am getting bleeding in my front teeth while brushing.

I am not sure why bad smell is coming from my mouth. Is it becasue of GERD or any other probelm i am not sure. Upon consulting Gastro he mentioned bad ad smell might be because of Dental problem. I need your advise on this.

Please let me know if i need to do any kind of investigation or any kind of medicine i need to take for this. Really i need immideate relief from this.I feel shame while i am sitting with my friends.

Brief Answer:
Gingival inflammation!!

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX.

First of all thanks for approaching Healthcaremagic for your query.

I read through your query and accordingly I must say that since you have symptoms of bleeding from gums bad breath can be due to gum inflammation(gingivitis). Its a usual cause of bad breath(so nothing to be worried in this case). I am also happy to know that you follow your regular oral hygiene practices.

Besides these you must go to dentist and get a cleaning of teeth and teeth surfaces(scaling) to be done. Not that your practices are wrong there are some areas beneath the teeth in the gums where our toothbrush won't reach. There the debris get accumulated causing bleeding and inflammation and eventually causing bad breath. So it has to be cleaned professionally by dentist with there scaling machine which clears debris deep in the gums.

Besides these do triclosan mouthrinse(good for gum health) and do tongue scraping after brushing(tongue harbours a whole lot of microbes causing bad breath). Drink lots and lots of water. Keep your mouth hydrated. Also GERD can cause bad breath in some situation but in this case I feel getting a scaling will solve this problem. Follow these and see the changes in you.

Be cool and stay happy. Hope you are benefited something from this reply. If more queries please be free to approach us. Have a healthy day!!!!
