Suggest Treatment For Acnes And Pimples

Question: Hi, I am a 27 years old girl. I am having acne outbursts on my face since a long time, the outbursts aren't too extreme. I have a good complexion generally, so the marks stand out a lot.

There is a pattern in the way the outbursts have been happening. One month it would be on say left side of my face and the right side would have it the next month. Initially these would be very small resembling heat boils and then after some 10-12 days, usually around monthly periods, these boils would grow and become full fledged pimples. And every boil stays till it grows even if it takes it months to grow big. My skin is prone to marks, every single pimple leaves mark even if it's just a little one and normally the position of pimples is very symmetrical on the two sides of my face, if i have a pimple next to the nose on left side of face one month, next time i'll have one on the other side almost at the same position as on the left side. And, this is more or less very consistent.

My skin is very sensitive, eyebrow threading leads to pimple outbreak on forehead as well. Plus, I am very sensitive to heat. Two days out in heat and i get pimples, eating something like a XXXXXXX egg, or any other eatable which produces heat in the body leads to pimple outbreak, even it's just one fruit or a single egg or any other such thing.

Please help.

I am from XXXXXXX just FYI.

Brief Answer:
Consider addtional hormonal therapies.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Madam.

I understand your concern.

You seem to have chronic recalcitrant acne.

The currently prescribed drugs in your case are very good.

Along with them, hormonal therapies like Drospirone will be quite effective in controlling your acne to a large extent.

This has to be used for 3-6 months for excellent results.

Consult your doctor with regards to this drug.

Frequent face wash with peach milk will be effective.

Avoid foods provoking acne.

Thank you.

Thanks Doctor.
You said currently prescribed drugs are good, but I am not using any drug currently and I didn't mention any in my question.
And, can you please tell me about the pattern of left and right side of face in alternative months.

Brief Answer:
Hormonal pattern of cycling.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

You have mentioned certain drugs in your medication history on top left corner of your query.
Hence my assumptions are based on that.

Any how, this alternative pattern of acne is due to the cycling of the hormonal influences affecting the pilosebaceous gland pattern.

The glands show varying degree of inflammation.Hence the sides of the face keep interchanging .

This cycling will reduce with effective drug therapy.

Thank you.
