Question : The back of my tongue has big bumps on it and, for at least a week, the left side of my throat is sore. For over a month certain things have tasted off. Like peanut butter and v8. Certain things smell off as well. Cranberry juice, hairspray, scrambled eggs, and eucalyptus. These are just a few examples. Also, my flatulence smells peculiar and when I belch it tastes strange. Can you give me some ideas as to what the heck is wrong?

Take Zinc supplement
Detailed Answer:
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney. I understand your concern.
You seem to be suffering from Allergic Pharyngitis along with oral ulcers.
I would recommend in such case to take Anti Allergic like Levocetrizine and Montelukast for a week.
Take a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone once daily for relief from acidity.
For oral ulcers that might feel behind the tongue respond very well to Zinc containing multivitamin.
I hope it helps you.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
