Brief Answer:
Potential blood clot

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for the question.

So you are a 42 year old with heavy periods, anemia and now right leg pain from the buttock to the foot with warmth in the right heal. First, with regard to the anemia, which is defined as low blood counts, this is related to a low count of red blood cells. It is usually related to 'increased loss' or 'decreased production' of red blood cells. This is pretty clearly related to the increased loss from your cycles. You need to discuss options for treating this with your OB/GYN.

The leg sounds to me like an unrelated problem. This could simply be related to sciatic nerve related pain, but it also might be related to a blood clot in the right leg. You need to contact your doctor immediately if this had a sudden onset. This is also a greater concern if there is also a family history of blood clots. Both of these could easily be sorted out with an exam and an ultrasound of the right leg.

Please let me know if this helps.
