Heavy Menstrual Periods, Blood Clots. Tubectomy Done. Treatment Options?

I started my period three days ago and i am heavy bleeding to the point my tampon is full of blood and it has came through so bad that my panties even have blood in them with in two and ahalf hours and the toilet is full of blood. I wipe and the blood keeps coming with clots! i have had my tubes tied for 4 and a half years what could be my problem!

Thank you for posting on HCM.
Tubal ligation has no connection with periods directly - but if prior to tubal ligation if you were on birth control pills - it causes periods to get lighter as it is due to with drawl of hormones & once you has tubes tied - naturally you will come off birth control pill & hence periods will be back to your normal body cycles .
Certainly heaviness of this periods needs further tests - blood test ( Iron, FBE, hormonal tests incl Thyroid function ) & also you will need to get Ultrasonography done
