Dear Dr XXXXXXX thanks for replying so quickly. I went to the bathroom , midmorning, and i had a very heavy bleed of both fresh and oldish blood, i'm sorry to have to tell you that it had a horrific smell like old rotten fish, i was alone that day and in pain in lower abdomen and thighs..it felt like really heavy periods used to feel, except for the offensive smell. went to A& E next day, had a scan, all seemed well, but they advised me to go to a gynecologist for further investigation which i did and she told me i should alo have my bladder looked at as the pain was so low, did that too but do not have results yet, doctor just told me there was no cancer, no nothing and that he did not even have to do a biopsy (which i thought silly, since you are there you always do a biopsy, no?), best regards D.
