Question : How do I get rid of congestion/mucus? I was sick for over a month with a respiratory infection and then it turned asmatic bronchitis. I am not sick now, however I still have a lot of congestion.
Brief Answer:
Continue inhalers and take mucinac tablet.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
Since you have asthmatic bronchitis you should continue taking your inhalers so that your airways are open and the mucus can come out easily.
You may take tablet mucinac 1 tablet thrice a day .It loosens the mucus so it's easier to bring it out.
Take steam inhalation, do deep breathing exercises and try a deep cough which will help in bringing out the sputum.
Try these measures and I'm sure they will be of help.
Take care.
