Question : what is it like to have a blood clot in you leg (side of calf area). There is a bum on the front side of the calf which more when I straighten the leg and no pain when I bend it and keep pressure off it

If it's just a bruise then need not bother much. It'll vanish in couple of days. If it is any swelling associated with lump or the bruise stays for more than a week then you should get a color doppler scan done to rule out varicose vein or deep vein thrombosis.
As of now be relaxed.
