Question : Hello Sir,

My wife developed a small boil at eye pupil. Today morning, I saw slight water/tears running thought her eyes.

Not sure if it is a heat boil or some sort of infection. Request you to have a look at attached pic for more details.

Brief Answer:
It is boil or stye.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I am Dr. Dadapeer K an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history and the photo attached with the question.

This is infection of the gland of the eyelids. This is called as boil or stye or hordeolum.

I would like to treat conditions like this by the use of antibiotic eye drops like Moxifloxacin eye drops and anti-inflammatory drugs like Diclofenac tablets.
The eye drops need to be used for 3-4 times a day and tablets two times a day.
Applying hot compression will provide symptomatic relief.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for prescription of drugs.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you
With regards
