Suggest Treatment For Breathlessness After Using A Water Washer At A Shed

default
Posted on Thu, 14 Jan 2016
Question: Yesterday evening I spent about an hour using a high pressure water washer in a confined cattle shed. When finished I felt quite breathless. This has continued throughout the night and into today. I am a sixty year old male and keep relatively fit and enjoy good health normally.I'm assuming that the very high levels of water vapor and mist affected my lungs . Is there something I can do to relieve my breathlessness?

Brief Answer:
Take fresh air and do deep breathing.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes possibility of bronchitis due to vapours is more.
Usually this resolves by its own. You just need to take deep breaths and take fresh air.
If you are not improving in 1-2 days then consult pulmonologist. You may need inhaled bronchodilators and inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
