Brief Answer:
This requires evaluation to rule out conditions like diabetes, hypertension

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care Magic.

I am Dr. DADAPEER K, an Ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.

I reviewed your history.

Bruised eye lid with black eye indicates bleeding into the eyelids. The commonest cause for this is injury however it is known to occur even spontaneously in few cases.

In these cases we need to evaluate to rule out predisposing factors like diabetes, hypertension and other systemic conditions.
Hence I advice you to consult your primary care physician for evaluation to rule out any of these conditions.

This condition does not require treatment and will resolve over 1-2 weeks. Applying cold compression will be of help.

Hope this answers your question.

Thank you
