you can apply antibiotic creams like mupirocin on the bump.if not reduced with topical antibiotics i suggest you to go for oral antibiotics, if it is going for any infection.

Brief Answer:
Would like to rule out possibility of genital herpes

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

I have reviewed the Image.

In this Image I can see a single erosion/ break in skin on penile shaft.

I would like to rule out possibility of genital herpes.

-Are you sexually active? Do you have single or multiple sexual partners? Or have had different sexual partners in the past?
-When was your last sexual contact?

You may take up a test for genital herpes i.e ELISA for type 1 and type 2 HSV (IgG and IgM)..

I am active and i have had multiple and in the past different women. As i said there is no pain from it unless i squeeze it. Last sexual contact was monday.... But this was there before the last encounter. It has not lead to any other spots not is the other person complaining. I know i have type one which is the oral kind but that is from the chicken pox not from transmission as i have never had an oral break out

Brief Answer:
Test for herpes by ELISA for both type 1 & type 2 HSV (IgG and IgM)

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Since you have had multiple sexual partners in the past therefore I suggest you to get tested for HSV by ELISA for both type 1 & type 2 HSV (IgG and IgM).

This could be genital herpes..

Oral herpes is commonly caused by HSV type 1 and genital herpes by HSV type 2 but either type of HSV can cause oral or genital herpes.

Chicken pox virus is different and does not cause lesions of Oral herpes.

For this sore, you may use an OTC topical antibiotic e.g 2% Mupirocin ointment twice daily for a week.

Also i notice how it get smaller and then larger sometimes and then it will leak. DOES NOT appear anywhere else has stayed consitent in tbat area before. I had the same type that occured fuether dowm on the shadt before and it smothed over snd ledt a black scan like healing Went to doctor and had blood work and no herpes. This seems the same too. Does herpes occur without any pain or itching snd to get all the way down to that one spot by passing the head?

Brief Answer:
Genital herpes can be asymptomatic

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Yes, genital herpes can be asymptomatic, specially recurrent genital herpes and there can be just a few lesions such as these.

Since you have had similar recurrences in past as well, that goes all the more in favor of genital herpes.

Take up a PCR test for genital herpes. That is more specific and sensitive.

What was the previous test? Can you name it?

No i dont remember the test but their were fluids before and there are no symptoms in my partner and that was years ago. It was two bumps and the doc said this is uncommon and ruled it out. The trst confirmed because i had a test for all std. It was not just one that i was checked for including hiv. Are tou seeing multiple lesions or just one?

Brief Answer:
Genital herpes can be present with a single or few lesions

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

The image shows just single lesion. Recurrent genital herpes can present with single or a few lesions.
Genital herpes once acquired remains for the rest of life. The infection can remain clinically silent for years and can present as genital sores from time to time.
The fact that these lesions recur makes it imperative that you take up a repeat test for genital herpes. Moreover, this lesion looks clinically very similar to genital herpes
I would suggest you to take up a PCR for HSV type 1 and type 2, preferably. It is more specific and sensitive as compared to HSV ELISA for type 1 and type 2 virus.
