Watch for infection but it should heal quickly.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I am sorry for this accident. If I am understanding this correctly, the injury is to the urinary meatus (opening of the head of penis). Also from your description it sounds like it might have been a mild abrasion (scuffing) rather than an avulsion (tearing off of a piece of tissue)?
I also do not gather from your description that there is a significant open laceration - that would need suturing.
The mucus membrane of the meatus should heal quickly and will probably be better in 24 hours. This is highly vascular tissue so it has a good blood supply to bring healing to the area (and also bleeds easily as you noted).
The precautions you took were wise, to clean the area. Now I would leave it be and let it heal.
Until it feels better, I suggest avoiding foods that are spicy or acidic (tomatoes for example) just because the urine from eating these types of foods may be slightly irritating. And keep the urine more dilute by drinking water.
Even without those dietary modifications it is likely to be ok soon.
Watch for signs of local infection such as increasing redness, swelling tenderness, or discharge.
Go in to a doctor or clinic if you have any signs of infection, OR if it is not healing quickly (i.e. showing some improvement in next day) or seems to be getting worse in anyway.
I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information.
