Question : Hi, On 28th September,I had sex with a Chinese prostitute . After 4-5 days I had a tip burning sensation of my penis, my urethra was also paining. I was given FosLb, Urisoas, Cefron 500 for 8 days but that didn't work , Again my antibiotics didn't work so cefron 500 was changed to citfran-500. For next 5 days. But this also didn't have much effect. Than I met a urologist Who started Niftran capsule andTab daily7.5mg, with Sutar syrup. After I 10 day course I felt better. My penis tip pain had gone and burning became very negligible or I can say bearable. Than he gave me a 15 day course of Doxyxyxline and solitral but this dose didn't go well with me after 2 doses I started frequently urinating and my penis tip was burning and paining again. So I again contacted him he changed my corse to amoxicillin and contiflo 0.4 .Again after the second dose my tip of penis started burning. I am very confused . The doctors aren't performing any STD test. Wat should I do please help me out.

                                    Brief Answer:
Request for a STD screening test particularly for genital herpes
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to me
I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.
Of course your doctor is not suspecting an STD because you do not have any visible sores or urethral discharge and moreover you had a protected sex. What you can do is that you can request your doctor to screen for STD's Or you can directly go to a pathology lab and request for a screening STD panel particularly ELISA for Hsv type 1 & 2 (both IgG as well as IgM).
