Question : Hello i worked in a freezer for about a year but now i had a cough for about a month kinda went away but now i have chest pains its the upper chest an middle

IT looks like you have developed pneumonia. Please get a chest x ray done to start on antibiotics

Can i still work in the cold with pneumonia or will time off help me then is it ok to return to work

I am sorry for the short delay in my response, I was on call at my hospital.
If you have developed pneumonia then it is adviceable to take off from work. It is better to stay in warm places and to keep yourself warm as well.

If you are suffering from bronchitis then it's a definite contraindication to work in a freezer, it will worsen the bronchitis .
