Question: HCM93308. At this point my Dr thinks I have chronic Fatigue Syndrome. I am seeing a naturopath and Primary care physician. I have a tincture for adrenal support and receive b12 shots from my naturopath. I would like to know what tests are recommended for immune problems such as mine. I get frequent viral infections. Exercise wipes me out and afterwards I experience brain fog, memory problems and muscle fatigue. Thank you

Brief Answer:
Immune problems,CFS

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Test Most Frequently Used to Diagnose a Primary Immune Deficiency (PID)are :

1.Immunoglobulin serum levels IgG, IgA, IgM & IgE
2.Lymphocyte phenotype T, B lymphocyte counts
3.CH50, AP50 Classic and alternative complement pathways
These are all special tests and have to be requisitioned by clinical immunologist.

Besides intense fatigue, most patients with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) report concomitant symptoms such as cognitive dysfunction(memory problems), muscle fatigue, psychiatric problems (brain fog) etc.
