Question : My 14 y/o grandson had dry flaky scalp so we bought dry scalp shampoo. He wrestles so showers and shampoos daily. He now has multiple scabby areas on his scalp. We have cut his hair short to hopefully help in healing but the problem is still there. We cannot get into a dermatologist until the 21st of November. What should we do in the meantime?

I agree that he would need to see a dermatologist for definitive treatment but in the meantime ,you can consider ketozal shampoo.

Dandruff is medically called seborrheic dermatitis and it is related to the presence of a type of yeast on the scalp.
Ketozal shampoo may be helpful to treat this. It should be used twice a week and it should be left on the scalp for 3 to 5 minutes each time.

Treatment may be needed for 2 to 4 weeks.
