Question : Hi there,

My 10 months old daugther just had a red and swollen vagina and there is some rashes too.

Should i bring her to the doc or do i just apply nappy cream will do?

Dear Ms,

Its likely to be diaper rash especially if associated with loose stools or green stools.
If there is no excessive crying while passing urine there is no cause for concern.
Keeping the area clean and dry and local application of diaper rash cream will suffice.
I would also suggest you to send clinical photograph for further assessment.
