Irritation Around Vaginal Area With Dry, Peeling Skin With Bumps During Periods. History Of Being Positive For BV. Any Thoughts?

Okay now I was positive for bv about a mouth ago, the doctor gave me some metronidazole 500 mg and my symptoms went away. I have gotten on my period for these mouth and I start feeling irritation around my vaginal area and I looked at it in the mirror and it looked very dry, i saw little bumps and skin was kind of peeling, I would think it's a rash because I was on my period when I noticed it and I was using CVS ultra thin pads, so I brought me a diaper rash cream and I put it around the area But it looks the bumps are going away But the dryness and the skin peeling it getting worst. I Really need help I'm only 15 and I don't know what's causing all these problems

You might have developed fungal infection.

Please get a KOH mount done,

This can confirm the fungal etiology.

Treatment can be with oral antifungals as well as with topical antifungals.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
