little pieces with hairs or legs sticking out of it

Possibly fiber in diet. If not sure, get a stool examination done. For now, take oral re-hydration salts with plenty of water.

Yes, it appears to be fiber only.

Due to increased motility due to diarrhea, it has not be processed by intestine properly, hence you are appreciating the fiber threads as hairs or legs.

Have adequate hydration. Take probiotics. It should reduce. Once diarrhea stops after 2-3 days, you can look at the stools, which will be normal and does not appear this way.
