Question: My 3 year old grandson has developed what looks like a dimple on his right cheek. About a month ago he had a small bruise in this spot which took a long time to diminish and is actually still noticeable. Is there anything to be concerned about?

Brief Answer:
Nothing to be concerned about

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

Your grandson's dimple like appearance on the cheek is nothing to worry about. Bruises or any lesions on the face are followed by such scars and is a normal healing phenomenon. Plus dimple itself is innocuous. There is a small cheek muscle named risorious the absence of which cause dimple which Is normal.

Nutshell it will go away. Nothing to worry about.just don't manipulate it and let it heal on its own.

I hope it helps. Take good care of your grandson and don't forget to close the discussion please.

May the odds be ever in your favour.
