Suggest Treatment For Dizziness And Spinning Of Head
Question: im XXXXXX, so my english is not so good.
my allelgy is cefcapene and hay fever.
i have epilepsy since i was 1 years old.
and finished treatment @ 13 years old.
but when i was 19 years old.
i got epilepsy again, and continue the treatment until now. my epilepsy is CPS
i take keppra 2000mg, and Lamotrigine 200mg everyday.
i sometime get really bad attack, which is i have to be in intensive care unit for few days.
Recently,often i feel dizzy, for 20 to 30min or sometime more longer.
i have migrane so i take maxalt sometime to kill pain.
but i never experience such a bad dizzy,
like i feel my step is not flat, i float on the water.
my doctor say dizzy is cause of headache without any test. i tell him about dizzy, and he response.
he is specialist doctor of nurology
but since i got epilepsy again,
he did brain wave test(EEG) only once,
and never did blood test even i was taking
sodium valproate 1200mg before....
when i feel dizzy, i cannot stand, feel my head is turning,and feel sick and feel like my ear is closed.
do you think i get dizzy, because of epilepsy or headache.? or something ear problem? i go to very big university hospital in XXXXXX

Hello, I understand your health concerns.
I would recommend you to get your Blood pressure checked and a full Ear check up and in case it cones out normal then get a CT Scan of head and neck region and visit a neurologist with reports.
It is not a light problem and needs meticulous work up.
