                                    Brief Answer:
ear infection.pennicillin drug of choice.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,thanks for your query.
your child has an ear infection, which is quite common in children following attacks of cold or upper respiratory infection.
greenish mucus suggests s bacterial infection.
Pennicillin (augmentin) is the drug of choice for such infections.
So treatment is correct. Dont worry.with augmentin definetely it will reduce.
other medications are also correct.take it for 5 to 7 days.
this antibiotic can cause loose stools as its side effect, then you can use enterogermina /econorm XXXXXXX 1/2 thrice daily for 5 days.
its drug induced side effects.stops once the medicines are stopped.
so dont worry. Your child will get better soon.thanks.
