Brief Answer:
Enlarged lymph node under chin.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX
This type of lump as you mentioned in your query may be enlarged lymph node ( as you mentioned that it is single and this is submandibular lymph node ) . Due to strep throat this lymph node drain and act as a protective barrier for infection, so enlarged .
In your case may be due to this reason.
Self medication is not good .
So consult your doctor and get prescription.
As you mentioned that it hurts and you are also feeling tiredness . Hurt means tenderness present due to secondary infection from sore throat . Tiredness due to infection .
Take a course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs for 3-5 days .
In my patient I prescribe levofloxacin+azithromycin ( combination pack ) once in day for 3 -5 days . ACECLOFENAC 200 mg twice in day for 2 days .
Hope this will help you .
Further any question I will reply in follow up.
Good luck.
