Brief Answer:
It could one of the three causes written below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
The possible causes for enlarged uterus in your case are:
1. Fibroid uterus-- This is quite clear on ultrasound Fibroids are non cancerous tumours of uterine muscle wall. But the fibroids ususally do not increase in size this fast ( 5cm in 4 months). Such increase in fibroid size is usually seen when cancerous changes occur in fibroid. This condition is known as leomyosarcoma.
2. Adenomyosis-- It is a condition in which lining of uterus (endometrium) grows into the uterine wall. This usually causes painful and heavy periods,. Are you still menstruating?
3. Rarely advanced cancer of the uterus can present as enlarged uterus. But in this case Pap smear often would show abnormal cells.
MRI would definitely clarify things.
I hope this helps. If you have further concerns do write to em. I will be happy to answer.

Brief Answer:
Please upload the ultrasound reports.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back.
If you are having regular period without pain it is unlikely to be adenomyosis. The enlarged uterus could be due to other two causes I mentioned before.

You did not write to me the details of ultrasound report done before. Could you please upload them so that I can help you better.
I am waiting for the reports.
With best wishes,
Dr Rama
