Brief Answer:
Consult a general surgeon

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mrs XXXXXXX

Thank you for posting your question here on healthcaremagic.com

I have gone through your query and based on the limited information provided, I feel what you are describing is perhaps hemorrhoids (piles).

Hemorrhoids are usually a result of poor eating habits (not eating foods rich in natural dietary fiber, etc.,). Other causes depend on the exact problem.

I would suggest you to consult a general surgeon, get your husband examined by the surgeon, that will give a clear idea of what the growth might be and based the clinical examination findings, a definitive treatment can be advised to you.

Hope that answers your question for now.

regards.
