Need more information.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. If you provide more information then it will be more helpful.
How is the pattern of hairfall you have?

Do you have more hairfall on frontal and crown areas?

Do you have excess dandruffs or flakes build up in scalp?

Is there any silvery scaling on scalp?

Is there any bumps on scalp , forehead or back of ears?

Have you ruled out anemia , hypothyroidism and vitamin D deficiency which can also be the reason of hairfall ?

Please update me the above informations. These are required to decide what treatment and which shampoo you need.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Most likely female pattern hair loss.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.

Thank you for your follow up query.

Your problem can be most likely due to female pattern hair loss. This can be due to heredity or changes in hormones.

Minoxidil 2% application is the FDA approved treatment for this. It should be used for at least 4 months continuously to get the effects. It should continued after that also.

For getting rid off dandruff you can use shampoos containing selenium sulfide twice weekly. Brands like selsun or head and shoulders are some of them.

Androanagen which contain saw palmetto as active ingredient is given for this also. This will inhibits DHT and helps in case of female pattern hair loss ( androgenetic) alopecia. You can take this after consulting a dermatologist if required.

Taking hair grow supplements containing essential vitamins for hair growth like biotin , essential minerals and amino acids will be helpful also.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Selenium sulfide should be used only twice weekly.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome again.

Selenium sulfide shampoo should be used only twice weekly. It shouldn't be used daily. If it is causing hair fall then avoid using it.

You can use some organic ayurvedic shampoos containing aloe vera, Neem etc.

Let me know if anything not clear. I am happy to help you.
Thanks.
