Question : appear to have flu , fevers, chills and difficutly breathing, should I be going to emergency, local walkins are full

Hi and Welcome to HCM.

This is most probably flu and upper respiratory infection, but considering your age and breathing difficulties as well as breathing pattern , you should immediately go check into your nearest Emergency and rule out possible pneumonia.

You may need intravenous antibiotics and infusions as well as possible hospitalization. Please don't wait any longer as further delay will only cause worsening.
