Suggest Treatment For Greying Of Hair

Question: Hello Doctor,

Im 33 yr old male, married, i smoke about 3-5 cigerettes and a social drink on weekend.

I have been noticing on my beard n moustache n chest and nostrils a lot of grey hair forming, and they are turning grey very very quickly, im feelin low because of that.

Please advise a good remedy and also please direct me to a dietician for my food habbits .

Premature greying of hair is due to deficiency of zinc and multivitamins.

I advise you to take Tab.Becozinc twice daily for 3 months,Syrup.Dexorange 5ml bed time,Tab.Biotin twice daily for 3 months.

NOTE:These drugs should be taken under strict medical prescription of your doctor.

Avoid stress and anxiety.

Avoid smoking and alcohol as they enhance early aging process.

Diet rich in dry fruits,nuts,oats,dates and fruits is advisable.

Sir, two questions, when you say use these medicine under strict prescription from my doctor, im reaching out for the same reason,

Two, can grey hair be reveresed .

Grey hair cant be reversed as such but new black hair replaces it.

Hi Sir,

Welcome again,

All the above prescribed drugs can be taken over the counter as they are multivitamins,so do not worry.

Start the drugs and continue for 3months.

Secondly Grey hair is not reversed but the new hair which grows will be black.

Normally hair has two phases-growing phase and falling phase.

Its inevitable for each hair follicle to follow this cycle,so these drugs will enhance the growth of new black hair once you start taking medication.

It may take 3-6 months for your hair to become normal.
