Question : I am a woman 65 years old. My hair is thinning. Leg hair is almost non existant. What can I do abut it?
Brief Answer:
Iron deficiency and hypothyroidism should be ruled out.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Hair thinning can be due to underlying problems like iron deficiency or hypothyroidism. So anemia should be ruled out by complete blood count and hypothyroidism by doing thyroid profile.
In case of such problems taking supplements of those will be helpful.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
