Suggest Treatment For Hand Tremors

Question: I am having tremors in my left arm. This is happening when I have a slight amount of weight being supported by that arm. The type of weight I am discussing is a plate of food or something similar. Heavier weights such as bags of groceries do not seem to cause these tremors nor do I notice them when the arm is idle. I thought about parkinson's, but what I have found on it says the tremors should occur while the arm is at rest so guessing that is not the problem. Just curious if this may be something serious that I should worry about and see my primary care Dr or just a part of getting older.

Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Parkinsons tremors are usually at rest but may also be present in action. It is usually associated with slowness in activities, walking, stiffness of hand or leg.
In persons if a heavy long object like plate, tray or something like that is held in hand it causes fatigue of muscle of hand and forearm causing tremors. The characteristics of this tremor is that it doesn't appear instantaneously and occur after a minute or so.
Nothing to worry about.
If other symptoms are present please communicate.
Are you taking any medications?
