Hi,
In any gastritis,gerd or esophagitis such sensation is seen and sometimes it may not response to antiacid therapy. but lump feeling is main sign of hiatal hernia which means that stomach has protruded through diaphragm. It can be detected by barium swallow test or sometimes by gastroscopy. After it is detected it can be treated surgically or conservatively by gastric diet, antiacid medicines and lifestyle changes. Try to eat more liquid food,chew it good and avoid long sitting or laying down after meal.
