Suggest Treatment For Hematoma Under Heel

Question : Yes, I have hematoma under my heel and I am trying to get it to go down like swelling. Should I be concerned that is not going down
or is this just part of the healing proses. Is hematoma different from sweeping fluid?

You have a hematoma of bruise on your heel. This type of injury especially on the heel will take several weeks to resolve. Time is the only treatment to allow for healing. You can try elevating your leg and using heat but that would not hastening the healing. It will help some of the pain and allow you to return to regular activities a little sooner.

Swelling from fluid is different but again it will take time for it to resolve if it from trauma. The swelling can be reduced also with elevating your leg and using compression bandage. It should take a week to reduce in size.
