Question : My Father is diabetic patient and his age is 60 years. His post fast sugar level is 265.
He is taking the tablets endoformin sr 500 and tab k glim mg2

I may not suggest to stop medicine immediately.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your question.
Noted your concern.

Fasting blood sugar level of 265 despite of treatment denote poor blood sugar control.
In such case I may suggest to start on insulin treatment.
I personally have no experience with ayurvedic treatment.

If he really wants to try Ayurvedic treatment, I may suggest to optimize his allopathic treatment to control his Fasting and post-prandial blood sugar levels first then simultaneously start ayurvedic treatment along with allopathic treatment with close watch on blood sugar levels.

There after try to stop allopathic medicines one by one.

During this process he should be in constant touch with diabetologist.
