Question: Hello Doctor,

My husband is having very high fever (105) and vomitting; should we go in for urine and blood tests its been 18 hrs now... he is taking Dolo 650.. any other medication suggested. Please advise.

Thanks for posting the query.

You can give Tab. Emeset 4mg 15 minutes before food. This will reduce vomiting symptoms. For fever you can give him Tab. Hifenac P 1 tablet 3 times a day. Blood test or urine test with in 48 hours of fever episode will not give any accurate results. Just let him be treated symptomatically. Give him lots of fluids and Electrolyte drink to keep him hydrated.

Any issue do follow up.
