Suggest Treatment For High Fever In A Child

Question : Hi, my kid- girl is 3 years old. She is having fever @ 101.3. Was using crocin suspension (120mg) and cefadrox rediuse (120mg) 5 ml each for tge last 3 days. Fever is becoming normal in morning and again coming back when she sleeps.

She also has cold and cough. Giving piriton expectorant 5 ml thrice a day.

Please advice whether I need to change medication.

Thanks for writing to us.
You have already given a good course of antibiotics and expectorant.
If fever keeps coming again in the evening, it is better to reevaluate her by your pediatrician.
Any persistent source of infection in the ears or lungs need to be examined and identified.
As of now you can continue same medicines until you consult your pediatrician.
Keep giving her plenty of liquids to keep her hydrated.
