Question : Hi Dr.., My 15 months old baby has fever of 101 F.. i need ur advice.. we started to give Crocin of 1.5 ml..
is that ok or what..
when fever started, her temp was 101.9 F., after we gave crocin of 1.5 ml at 4pm.. now ( 11.45pm ) her temp is 101.. what should i do..?

Relax, water sponging. proper dose of crocin

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM,
Relax sir,
start tap water sponging and should be repeated every about 5 to 10 minutes gap till her temperature comes down
Give syrup crocin @15 mg per kg. it can be repeated 4 to 6 hourly.
15 month old child is approximately 10 kg of weight . For this weight about 5 ml of syrup crocin will be ok.
Give her plenty of water.
