Brief Answer:
Ovarian response is good.

Detailed Answer:
Hello Ms. XXXXXXX

Thanks for posting your query.

Clomiphene treatment can be used for a course of six months. If your doctor has already used the stepping up dosage to reach the maximum dose which you are now using, you are left with two alternatives-wait and watch for the next two cycles or ask your doctor if any follicle induction hormone injection is needed.

Your sonography findings suggest that the ovaries are responding well and the thickness of the endometrium also is satisfactory. Follicular studies can be done to see if ovulation has actually occurred or not and intercourse timed properly to achieve best result.

Please do not worry as the treatment for infertility needs time and patience. The overall success rate for Clomiphene treatment is 30-40 percent. Even if this fails for you, you still have several other alternatives left and you are still so young, so do not worry at all. Do continue with your doctor's prescription.

Hope I have answered your query. Please feel free to contact for further clarifications. I will be happy to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.

Brief Answer:
Preferably avoid.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back.

If your doctor suggested intercourse during those days, it means that ovulation is expected to fall on one of those days. Preferably, if one is very sure of ovulation, it is better to avoid further intercourse during the cycle in order not to disturb any fertilized egg in the process of implantation.

Hope your doubt has been cleared. Please get back for any further suggestions. I will be ready to help.

regards,
Shanti.V.
