Brief Answer:
IBS- Diarrhea predominant

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Based on your history , it appears that you have IBS-D i.e diarrhea predominant IBS. There are a few options available that can be tried as they can help alleviate your symptoms and prevent any embarrassing attack in public as you described it. Dicyclomine, hyoscyamine , peppermint oil, trimebutine or mebeverine are some options that can be used for preventing painful spasmodic attacks. Antidiarrheal like diphenoxylate can be tried instead of imodium to see for response. IBS can be difficult to treat initially and many a times one needs to try a few tested medications to assess the response of the patient and then continue accordingly.

Wishing you best of health

Thanks
