Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concern.
Itchiness in your bottom could be due to intestinal parasites when no problem is noted with your skin at that place.
This explains why your doctor gave an unique dose of mebendazole. Usually, I ask my patients to run stool testing for ova, parasites before prescribing medications.
If you took mebendazole, it does not mean you are going to see scary parasites. Not at all. What I suspect are tiny parasites (threadworms) larvae that you might see when passing stool.
If so, might need another dose of mebendazole after 2 weeks.
Take some probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora as you might feel light abdominal cramps /discomfort the next couple of days.
However, I can assure nothing worrisome will happen.
Wishing you a fast recovery.
