Brief Answer:
Mild allergic Respone to flushot
Detailed Answer:
Hello Madam.
I understand your query and concern.
This is a minor allergic/hypersensitive response to the flu vaccine antigens ,particularly seen in few susceptible elderly individuals.
This is a benign condition and would settle on its own in 49-72 hrs.
You currently seem to be on excellent treatment with Immodium and cortisone.
The diarrhoea would resolve on itself.Adequate hydration is all that is needed.
You can continue these drugs until the symptoms resolve.
Post your further queries,if any.
Thank you.
