Brief Answer:
It needs to be removed by Uretetoscopy.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX Hi & Welcome.
Thanks for posting your query on Health Care Magic.
Noted the size and the location of the stone.

It seems to be located at one of the narrow portions of the ureter.
Normally in majority of cases stones up to size of 8 mm pass out spontaneously.

Since it is (15x8) mm and located at the level of crossing over iliac vessels and it is already causing blockage resulting in back pressure changes that is swelling of kidney and ureter, so it needs to be removed by ureteroscopy and fragmentation.

It is normally done under spinal Anesthesia & requires hospitalization for 2-3 days and recovery period of one week.

Meanwhile drink more water to produce more urine & take antispasmodics like tab Drotaverine twice daily for temporary relief.

Hope the suggestion given above would be useful to you.
Best regards.

Brief Answer:
Tablets may not be effective in expulsion of the stone.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX Hi & Welcomeback.
Thanks for your reply. I can understand your concern.

Since at present the stone is located (rather impacted) at the constriction (narrow part) of the lower ureter hence the tablets may not be effective in removing the stone which is (15x8) mm in size.

Hope I could answer your query.
Best wishes.
