Question : I recently started having large bruises on my thighs. They itch and go a away after a few days. Skin peels in the area of the bruising. It started with one but now there are several. I am otherwise healthy and active and on no medications.

Skin peeling is often associated with irritation, itch and rash.There are numerous reasons why your skin peels and hence I would like to know some more information-

Since when have you noticed this?How often does it peel?Does this happen in the same area?
Are you exposed constantly to sun, heat, humidity or dryness?
Are you allergic to cosmetics, fabrics, detergents or any other substance which you feel is triggering this condition?
Are you taking any medications currently?
