Brief Answer:
Lichen planus treatment; upload images

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thanks for writing to us at healthcaremagic

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and I have understood it.

You seem to have a generalized/ widespread involvement.

I would have preferred if you would have also uploaded a few representative images of the affected skin.

Lichen planus has an autoimmune etiology. Lichen planus presents as itchy, polygonal, flat lesions which are mostly over the legs, flexor arms, sides of abdomen. The lesions can coalesce together to form plaques.
Itching is a prominent feature in lichen planus.

The diagnosis is mostly clinical however a skin biopsy may be ordered to confirm the clinical diagnosis

I would like to gather more information regarding your query

-Was skin biopsy performed to confirm the diagnosis?
-Is it confined to the skin or is it also involving the oral mucosa? Do you have oral ulcers?sensitivity to spicy food?

I personally think that you should discontinue homeopathy treatment and rather consult a dermatologist.

Treatment of lichen planus is with topical superpotent steroids e,g clobetasol propionate cream OR Halobetasol propionate cream, twice daily.

In case of generalized/widespread disease oral steroids may also be required to be administered for some duration of time.

Oral hydroxychloroquin is also an option for widespread involvement with lichen planus.

These are all prescription products and therefore i would suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your region for the needful.
Your dermatologist would be able to examine and assess the severity as well as extent of the disease and advice accordingly.

An OTC antihistamine e.g cetrizine 10 mg once daily would provide you symptomatic relief from itching.
