Brief Answer:
likely to be gastritis, an inflammation of the stomach

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for your query.
Your symptoms were due to an inflammation in the stomach. This can occur due to several reasons like spicy or acidic or spoilt food, stress and increased acid production due to the same or due to a bacteria called H. Pylori which infects the stomach.
If the symptoms do not recur then it may be a self limiting problem like the first two causes. If it recurs, it would be better to see a doctor and have yourself examined and tested.
Hope you get well soon.
